There is no cart on this page. These are the three kits I want to make first, described as plainly as I can, at the prices I think they can be made for.
Mad Brews sells no alcohol — not now, and not later. Everything below is equipment, culture and ingredients: the means to ferment your own. Ordering is not open, no money changes hands here, and the prices are what I expect to charge rather than quotes. They can move before launch, and if they do I will say so.
Fruit Wine Starter Kit
A 5L fermenter, an airlock, a hydrometer that reads to three decimals, a sachet of Lalvin 71B, nutrient, a straining bag and a log sheet with the days ruled in. Not the fruit — buy that at the market, in season, cheap.

Mead Refill Set
The same box without the glass, for whoever already owns a fermenter: Lalvin 71B, nutrient, a straining bag and a log sheet ruled long. That strain carried batch 29, the banana mead — 1.092 down to 1.010 over 102D, and it still did not clear all the way.

A small hand press, straining bags, an airlock, a cider yeast and campden tablets. Autumn only, because pressing supermarket apples in March is a sad way to spend a Saturday.

What happens when you send that email.
There is no list software behind this. Your message lands in a folder in my mail, and that is the whole system. It is also why the reply takes a day or two.
